Hope this helps. Try out what works best. To save energy, get a spirit spammer to have spirits tank. You can also go Me/Rit for sucking energy from the spirits if the spirit spammer isn't doing so himself. If you wish to use this build properly, you must go N/Me as mesmers run dry very easily.

The energy usage isnt THAT taxing that you cant cover it with drain delusions and (insert cheesey eman skill) unless you cast random skills for very little reason..

Tho i do agree that there is no point running me/n over n/me if you decide to not take elem secondary with ashblast and spec for enfeebling blood instead.

The Nec primary shits all over the mes primary for the enfeebling blood variant. Then again you cant run blinds with a nec primary or secondary, and thats a big loss imo. (personal preference on the blinds btw)

So what do you do if a group isn't balled, strays, in a mission or area that has patrols or long fights due to additional foes/separation, or if your party doesn't have enough damage? The necromancer will recover far faster to put up more conditions or to renew them.

The necromancer has extra skill slots.
